Halla Winnia Joins Asia League
This Year: Halla Winnia joins the Asia League in it's first season as a mainly unknown team. Based in Seoul Halla had a rude welcome to the Asia League when they were beaten in their first game 11-1 by Kokudo in a penalty filled game. However, the team has adapted quickly to the difference in skill and speed of Japan-based teams. Recently they have beaten Oji Seishi and the Cranes on the road. It is almost certain that they will not finish last in this year's league and may even finish as high as 3rd. Quite an achievement for a team that has only existed 8 seasons.

Last Season: This is the first season for Halla Winnia in the Asia League but they did win the Korean League championship.
Former All-Star Dopson
Halla Winnia and the Korean League both started in 1994. The Korean League includes company and univeristy teams. recently the Korean Leagues popularity has dropped and Halla is currently the only company team left in the league. In the league's 8 seasons Halla have won the championship 4 times including 3 times in the last 4 years. Recently the team absorbed members from the now defunct Don Won Dreams and now is makes up the entire Korean National team.
