Kings of Asia Winning 2004 Asia League Title

scored Kokudo's second goal of game four
2004.3.27- With a decisive
win in game 4 of the Asia League finals Kokudo took their
1st Asia League championship and 5th title in 5 years
(including the 4 consecutive JIHL titles). They also
proved that in a playoff series they are basically unbeatable.
Although the opponet Cranes were the defending A-League
champs last years title was decided after a short season
with no playoffs. After defensive battles in games 1
and 2 Kokudo's offense exploded for 11 games in the next
two games taking the title. Kokudo's Chris Yule was once
again money in the playoffs leading all scorers with
10 points in 7 games.
